How to Help

Global Maritime Ministries, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization. We are supported entirely by direct donations from individuals and churches around the United States and much of our work is done by volunteers. Your generous gifts make it possible for us to continue this ministry. Your gifts help provide Bibles in different languages, salaries for the chaplains, insurance for the vans and buildings, utilities for the centers, and many other resources. Without you, we could not continue. Thank you for your prayers, your gifts, and your time!

We need volunteers who can donate time at the Reserve and Tchoupitoulas Centers. This may also be a great ministry for local youth groups. E-mail Philip Vandercook to sign up for a time to volunteer.

If you can't give your time volunteering at the center, we're also in need of cookies to distribute to seafarers. Make your special homemade cookies and drop them off at the center, and we'll distribute them to center visitors and on the ships.

Most importantly, we invite you to come to the center to help us share Christ with the seafarers. If you’re interesting in any form of volunteering or for more information, please contact Philip Vandercook.
